Insurance Coverage
Did you know private consultations, classes, compression hosiery, maternity belts and breastpumps may be a covered insurance benefit.* We currently have contracts with Priority Health, PPOM, Cofinity, Humana, and Aetna for consultations and classes. We are registered with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan for breastpumps, maternity belts, and compression stockings/hosiery.
Some smaller insurance carriers also may cover the cost of our consultations; please call us for more information. And remember, Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts usually allow for breastpumps, lactation consultations, compression hosiery, and maternity belts.
We will gladly provide (and help fill out) an insurance Superbill that you may use to submit your own claims, if needed.
